Alorah Roussel
Capacity Development Specialist

Alorah grew up in southern Ontario. She is the oldest sister of younger brothers, which explains her Type A personality and ability to handle crises. After deciding she really isn’t a city person at all she picked up and moved to St. John’s for school. Here, she’s had several opportunities to work in the Child and Youth Care field. She has also worked with New Canadians and with the Learning Disabilities Association.
Alorah enjoys cooking, hiking, and tending to her garden (which was supposed to be a pandemic hobby, but has kind of taken over her life). In her free time, she can be found hitting up local craft fairs and farmer's markets. She is fiercely academic and often jokes that she'd like to be in school for the rest of her life.
Alorah loves her little life in Newfoundland, which she shares with her partner and their pets.
